Replacement Steamed Units

Steamed double-glazed units often exhibit a foggy, unclear appearance, and in more severe instances, water may have infiltrated the unit. This issue arises when the seal and desiccant between the two panes of glass are compromised by moisture, permitting this moisture to enter the air space within the double-glazed unit, resulting in the cloudy appearance of the glass. 

In addition to being visually unappealing, a compromised unit significantly diminishes energy efficiency compared to one operating at optimal capacity. 

Fortunately, in most cases, the window or door frame housing the steamed unit remains sound and can serve for several additional years.
